I really enjoyed my meal! I got the smash & tender plate with hot chicken. The YoYo sauce was delicious. All of it was delicious, really. The burger was substantial and the chicken was juicy. I’m now curious to try their chicken sandwiches, which are very reasonably priced (fast food spicy chicken sandwich prices are out of control!). Also, the woman working was so kind! Although it was my first time there, she made me feel like a valued customer, which is such a rarity for counter service/takeout spots. Great customer service is enough incentive for me to return. I’ll be back!

Our first time, definitely not our last!!! Warm greeting and nice smile the minute we walked up to the counter. The food was delicious!!! We each ordered a double smash burger and split a large order of waffle fries. You won't be disappointed. Yoyo sauce is awesome!!! See you soon!

My kids have been begging to come here and I’m so glad we did! We ordered a variety of meals with chicken, hamburger and macaroni and cheese. Food was hot, portions were perfect and the staff was friendly. Pretty much everything you need for a good quick meal.

First time stumbing across this highly rated spot & boy!! They did not disappoint!! The flavors are amazing! It all looked sooo good & tasted even better that we had to get more after trying the mix plate with both chicken burger and beef burger. Those waffle fries taste EXACTLY as they look!! Yum yum! The fact that it's all HALAL was the cherry on top!! The cashier was so friendly & the restaurant was clean & a very cool spot. Highly recommend! ♡

i’ve been here give or take five or six times in the last three weeks, every single time I come the customer service is amazing and the people are very friendly, the food is always good, and it is the ideal stoner food for the area, I would definitely recommend it to anyone to try at least once. If you are not into the “junk” Food world i wouldn’t bother wasting your time looking for a salad. 5/5 and a great addition to the area.

First time here. Went around 10pm: The food is fresh, great comfort food choice! Everything had just the right amount of grease, seasoning and texture. I had smash burger, mild and original tender and of course the waffle fries (they’re Great). Service was friendly and accommodating. Food was ready in 5 min! Worth the wait when it’s busy…

Decided to check this resto out as we were in the area and was looking for a place to have dinner in. Tried their rice bowl and burger plate + milkshake. Food was great! Tastes great and was served hot. The milkshake was creamy and really good. We ended up taking half of our food home as we were stuffed! Staff were friendly and helpful. I did not rate atmosphere because when we arrived the tables were all on the sides as their staff was mopping the floor and cleaning and it seems a lot of people are ordering/picking up for to go and it may have been a slow day. But highly recommended to try out if you're in the area and hungry.

The young man at the register was super kind and professional. A lady came in asking for a soda and I was willing to cover the cost, he told me not to worry about it and gave it to her anyway. Service was great and food was super tasty. The wrap is huge and the smash burger is really tasty and flavorful.

Took a long time to get our order tonight - honestly I think the workers didn't notice, considering they were talking quite a lot in the back. Others were having to wait a while for their food as well. Maybe they weren't expecting that volume of orders. They appeased some of us with free drinks or ice cream, thankfully. They did the right thing, so I'm giving them a good rating. The food is pretty good, the yoyo sauce especially. They give you a lot of food as well, so you definitely won't leave hungry. You can't go wrong with chicken over rice, or even the burrito. Just prepare to have some food leftovers.

I came in as a first timer and left pretty satisfied. The cashier, Emily, was a nice person, showed me all the options on the menu (an absurd amount of things btw) and was overall a good vibe. She was awesome, and the food was good too. Very good.

Got some takeout from here yesterday for the first time. We tried the wings and each of us had the YoYo Smash and Tender Plate which comes with waffle fries. The wings were crispy and tasty. I could not finish the food in my plate. Pricing reasonable. There was plenty. Good value for the money. We'll go back at some point, Liked the YoYo house sauce , too.

I prefer halal meat, so before this spot, Yo Yo Spot, my go-to place whenever I craved burgers was Holy Cow. But ever since I tried Yo Yo Spot and ordered their double beef smash burger, it’s honestly the best halal burger I’ve had. At Holy Cow, the buns sometimes overpower the burger because the patties are smaller. But here, the buns are a bit smaller and the beef portion is much better balanced. It was absolutely delicious and beyond my expectations.

Staff was very polite, fast, and knowledgeable. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. I liked that you could see into the kitchen. And the food was delicious! We got Plates and it was a lot of food for one person.

I stop here alot on my way home, the medium heat chicken sandwich with extra slaw is consistently delicious. Anything you order always come with a side of sauce. The service is friendly and engaging. And its open late, 2am on weekdays 3am weekends. I look forward to my next visit.

I made the decision to try Yoyo Chicken, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was pleasantly crispy, and although I typically do not enjoy waffle fries, they were also quite crispy. If you have not yet visited this establishment, I highly recommend that you do so. I will certainly return.

I tried the chicken sandwich and burger combo with fries . Delicious ! Also had the bbq wings , also delicious ! The first time I ate here. I felt like the menu was so overwhelming, but the staff was so very helpful of it being the first time there of what to order. And how to try a little bit of both, but I would have to say the food overall service atmosphere is amazing. Their chicken and their beef are like cooked to perfection to make you like. Wanna keep going back for more? We had one of the burger with the chicken. With the fries meals combos, it was delicious. And also, the prices were very decent and they opened late. When I mean late past 12am

one of the best places ive gone to for delicious crispy chicken tenders and waffle fries. they were fried to perfection and we enjoyed the good crunch. id recommend the lemon pepper chicken tenders, they were delicious. i also liked the smash burger a lot, you get a lot for your money at this place. also customer service was 100000/10, the cashier was really kind and wonderful, she checked in during our meal and asked us if we enjoyed the lemon pepper tenders because she had recommended the flavor to me while i was ordering. definitely coming here again!!!

I got the mix platter and some wings. The waffle fries and chicken sandwich, excellent. My burger was overcooked. Had some chewy hard bits. The wings are good. Personally I prefer my wings to have more flavor even without sauce. My granny said it was the perfect amount of flavor for her.

Really good wings, especially the honey flavor! Tenders were super crunchy and fresh. Fries weren’t my favorite, but the place is clean, looks nice, and I’d come back again.

Great halal place for take out. I recommended the triple Jalapeno Jack, Best burger!!! If you like chicken wings, I recommend the Lemon Pepper wings with Yoyo sauce, so yummy. I always get these two things from the menu with fries and a milkshake.

The food was amazing. Had the mixed box chicken sandwich, smash burger and waffle fries. It was my cheat day so I went all out. I thought these were slider sized sandwiches but they aren’t, they are definitely a good size. They were so good i didn’t want to stop eating even though I was full. And less than $20 for the box (and i substitute for jack cheese and added jalapeno and pickles). Both Food and price made me happy. Will definitely revisit.

I've been to a few of these yoyo chickens and the food is always amazing. Super crispy waffle fries and amazing smash burgers. But you can't forget their signature chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if the guy made a mistake but mines came with two chicken patties. No complaints here! And they definitely bless with that yoyo sauce

Came here Saturday night with my boyfriend after a really long day and it honestly hit perfectly. I ordered the smash burger and tender plate and everything was so good. The burger was juicy with crispy edges and full of flavor, definitely hit the spot. The tenders were cooked really well and the waffle fries were fresh and crunchy, not greasy at all. One plate per person was more than enough, we left super full and satisfied. Sanya took great care of us and made sure our food came out on time and that we had everything we needed. She was very helpful and attentive the whole time. The food came out fast and fresh, which made the experience even better. Overall the food was amazing and really fulfilling, perfect comfort food after a long day. Definitely coming back again.

I had the Jalapeño smashburger (double), waffle cut fries and the Cookie Butter milkshake and i was really satisfied. everything was good, perfectly cooked, and that milkshake was amazing. nice and prompt customer service as well. i’ll definitely try their chicken next time. highly recommend

My friends and i came last night and got the chicken tenders, sandwiches, smash burgers, loaded fries bowl , strawberry dragon fruit drink and rice pudding with strawberry ice cream on top! all were phenomenal, i’ve had the sandwich before but the loaded fries , smash burgers, drinks and rice pudding were too good. the sauce is really good too, get extra!! dragon fruit drink was fresh and so was the mango one! the owner was kind and gave us samples, and when we received our food he gave a complimentary rice pudding with strawberry ice cream! it was amazing, the rice pudding was the best i’ve had and the ice cream was fresh with real strawberries, it also had a drizzle of honey and a biscoff cookie!!

Their chicken is some of the most juicy and crunchy… it has a special seasoning I can tell because it’s not a typical chicken flavor however it’s not some way off flavor it definitely gives fried chicken flavor … tonight I opted for just a chicken sandwich because I got off late … I greeted the guy behind the register and i started telling him how much I liked the chicken and he gave me the brilliant idea to give them a google review lol 🤣… I agreed however I was hungry and said to myself that I will make sure I do it another time because I was gonna buss my sandwich down … now the sandwich has already came with sauce but as I was eating I was like dang I could use some extra sauce … I went in the yo-yo chicken bag to retrieve the pregnancy 🤰🏽Test I bought and to my surprise there was an extra cup of sauce 😊… that’s when I knew I had to produce this review Tonight‼️

Ordered on uber eats and it came very quickly. I got the burger and tender meal which was delicious. The fries were great too. My wife got the yo yo waffle smash which was the smashed burger meat on the waffle fries with their sauce which she really liked. The fry sauce is great too. Loved the food and will definitely get again. Highly recommend.

Just came to give this place a shout out because it’s my first time trying it and they’re brand new!! The food was fresh, delicious, and ready on time. I was tended to by a young lady who was super sweet. I love that they have their own fresh made drinks, we got the mango refresher which was soooo good. We ordered chicken wings, Mac and cheese, and grilled chicken over rice with yoyo sauce. No complaints whatsoever plus the prices are great so we will 100% be back!! P.S… they read the notes, I asked for caramelized onion for my rice bowl and got a generous serving of them!! I also added hot honey and that was super delish.

This place BLEW MY MIND. The service is beyond outstanding and the food took me out of the world. I got a free rice pudding and discount for next time because of an issue with the grill. The staff are so friendly and hospitable. Never have I had service any better than YoYo. This is my new go to spot and I’m bringing my friends. Although the prices can be a little high here, this restaurant is as perfect as it can get! UPDATE: I came back recently and spoke with Abraham, one of the managers. He mentioned the team had seen my earlier review and were so happy to read it, which truly made my day. I tried the biscoff milkshake this time... it’s easily my new favorite item on the menu! Abraham also kindly upgraded it to a large and offered a discount for my next visit. The thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality here keep me coming back.

I went her for the first time and they had really good spicy chicken, the "very hot" version was delicious, especially when eaten with their signature sauce 🤤. Their waffle fries was very crispy and filling, the refreshers and strawberry milkshake was also very good. It's a very good halal fast food place that you should try. Their customer service was good, they were nice and pretty funny. They had a quiet and not su busy atmosphere, which I liked, it helped me and my friends to feel more comfortable.

Discovered this spot November 2024 & have been a few times since. Great prices & portions!! First time here, the owner/manager had a late night special of $5.99 for certain sandwiches like the grilled chicken & fish sandwiches that we ordered in addition to their tenders & smash burger. All were delicious!! The tenders are HUGE!! The size puts Raising Cane's to shame!! They're the same size as the ones used to make their chicken sandwiches. On another visit, I had their wet lemon pepper wings, they were 🔥! Great customer service, always consistent with their quality & quantity. Try their fountain Hibiscus and Mango drinks. Small in-dining area has only 3 tables. Food is made fresh to order so either order ahead or plan for a little wait if you walk in!

Amazing service. The employees are so charismatic and friendly and the kitchen looks extremely clean. Although you can’t sit down and eat I would recommend this place to everyone. I especially love their waffle fries and their chocolate milkshake. The milkshake is thick and creamy and you can really taste the chocolate. They also put whip cream on the milkshake and they sometimes give you a discount. The waffle fries are absolutely divine their equally crunchy and greasy texture just makes the whole experience amazing. This place completely blows away all my expectations and I would definitely go again. Their sauce is also amazing and goes with everything on the menu.

This is a great halal chicken spot. Staff was very friendly. This was my first time here. Manager offered us complimentary drinks and a side yoyo sauce to try. I ordered the six piece yoyo chicken tenders and a side of waffle fries. The tenders are nice and meaty. Super moist on the inside. I was given crinkle fries instead of waffle fries. Which is fine. Cheese fries were really good. The mango juice and the lemonade mixed with strawberry juice were delicious. Everything was made to order. Nice and fresh and flavorful. Definitely will be returning to try out their Yoyo plates. All around a good solid spot. They open until 3am on the weekends.

Delicious chicken spot in the neighborhood. There is huge competition lately. Lots of chicken spots opening around. This place also has burgers 🍔. Very delicious. The special sauce is great. I like the way the shop is decorated. Lots of graffiti style lettering.

Yoyo Chicken is a fast casual chicken place parked on East 14th Street--serving up menu of comfort/ fast foods like fried chicken sandwiches, fried chicken bowls, wings, burgers, fries, and more. it's a small colorful clean interior with a few seats by way of ledge + stools and lots of bright lights. picked up an order of Chopped Crispy Chicken over rice comes with waffle fries, pickles, and coleslaw. there's touchscreen ordering if the order counter is busy. my order didn't take that long to make after ordering by a food app. my order was packaged well. the food wasn't super hot in temperature, so i assume some of the food is pre-batched. i thought the chopped fried chicken ("crispy chicken" tasted fine...wasn't super crispy and most of the flavor seemed to come from the YoYo sauce which is pretty good. the rice was fine as well--not much to note as it does its job of soaking up the yoyo sauce and chicken flavor. wished the waffle fries were crispier, but who would complain about French fries that are cooked competently? not me. there's also pickles + coleslaw to add a cooling element to the platter. though nothing in the platter is all that spicy. the portions of everything from the chicken to the rice to the fries is plentiful--they don't skimp on the main items. to me, the chicken over rice scene has so many options in terms of brick and mortar and food trucks...that I'd probably opt for a sandwich or a Mac n cheese platter and pass on the chicken over rice, here, even though it's fine, just not all that memorable in terms of a meal option. the service is quick and efficient--so no complaints there. definitely YoYo Chicken is a good option to have when you want comfort food in the form of a fast casual meal, but i think in terms of the East Village...you have a lot of options, so competition is fierce when we are talking about everyday takeout options.

It was a nice little place. Food was ok, I wasnt wowed. I only tried the mild chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese. I will go back and try smash burger. Place was clean service was fast.

Some of the best chicken sandwiches I have had. Much better than the chicken sandwich at the popular fast food places. Good service. The space is small but there is some seating if you don't mind the tight space. It can get cramped when busy. The atmosphere is OK. The first time I went there was a man hanging out asking people for money and to buy him food. This time it was mostly kids there. They didn't bother me so I stayed and ate. I think ordering to go is best. FYI. Even the regular chicken has a hint of spice

i ordered on uber eats and got the buy1 get 1 free and it was my first time ordering . the chicken was good. the fries was good . the cole slaw was goood.. the rice was disgusting. that’s why i gave a 4 star because everything else was so good but the rice tasted strange like cinnamon to me.

Pretty good food! If you like Dave's Hot Chicken mixed with Shake Shack, you'll get both here at around 80% of both. Prices are definitely high for the area, but if you need that fix, you could do worse.

Tasty chicken, waffle fries and cheese burger. Cheap eats, lovely. The sauce is fire too. Hala friendly! Highly recommend this location. It's on doordash also.

Absolutely love their food! I tried the chicken sandwich, waffle fries and Mac & cheese with a fruity pebble vanilla milk shake. The chicken sandwich and fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked! I even love their yo yo sauce! My milkshake was the perfect combo of sweet and tasty, also not too thick but also not watery at all! The service from the staff was amazing, there was this particular employee that stood out to me I wish I could remember her name, she helped me and my friend with the menu and even came to our table to check on us! I have no complaints! Definitely worth the visit here

I had one of the plates, a smash burger, a lemon pepper chicken sandwich, and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake with waffle fries. It was 3 of us and it came out to about 50$. The shake was pretty good, just a vanilla shake with cereal in it. The chicken sandwich was better than the burger. Chicken was crispy but tender. My daughter had the very hot chicken sandwich and said it wasn’t that hot. Wife had the chicken tenders and didn’t care for them much. Overall not a bad place to eat once in a while, definitely would go back. Cashier that rang us up brought out our food to our table and was nice. Overall not a bad place, limited menu options is why only rated 4 stars.

When I found out a new restaurant was replacing the quickly shuttered taco spot, I was happy. I was less impressed that it was a halal chicken place only given the fact that there is a halal Kennedy Fried Chicken across the street so it was something completely different coming to the area. I never heard of the brand until it came. It has a great location being right next to the b41/b103 bus stop heading to Kings Plaza/Canarsie. There is no seating but high counters along the window so you can stand and eat. It is a shame due to the space they have available. The person at the counter is generally nice and answers questions and gives recommendations. I think it has a range of items though if you go in person, you have to deal with the menu flashing too quickly on the screen to get a good glance of the options. Luckily they provide a paper menu. I ordered the chicken tenders (mild) as my first taste since I was planning to share with family. It comes with Texas toast and a yo yo sauce. I was informed that the spice options for tenders (original, mild, medium, hot, very hot, lemon pepper) were seasonings so you can’t order it separately. For sauces, you should order wings. The amount of meat you get from the tenders is decent for the price. The seasonings used were not my favorite and they were unevenly applied. I might have been better off getting it hotter or lemon pepper. The Texas toast was provided but it was underneath the chicken as to soak up the tender juice as opposed to being separate so I couldn’t judge it on its own merits. The yoyo sauce was decent and a great compliment to the chicken. This meal was similar in taste to me to Raising Canes. The Texas toast and sauce add ons definitely helped but while the chicken wasn’t as crispy as Canes, the juiciness and relative lack of flavor go hand in hand. I wouldn’t order the same thing again but I would be willing to order something else from the menu like the Mac bowl, burger or the fish options
